In this interactive online session, Steven Starks draws on 30+ years with Ford Motor Credit, Chrysler Financial, a high-growth startup, and Disney Institute to introduce a practical framework linking culture, leadership, AI, and experience. You’ll explore where humans should lead, where AI should support, and how to keep employee and customer experiences cohesive rather than fragmented.

This session introduces the ASPEN Method, a strategic framework designed to help leaders and talent development professionals move beyond being "technicians" of their craft to become "trusted guides" of their mission.

  By grounding professional strategies in a foundational alignment of Purpose, Vision, and Impact, this interactive workshop teaches you how to build a personalized Influence Ecosystem. We move past the pressure of performative visibility and into a structured rhythm of intentional, values-aligned actions that build trust and accelerate organizational transformation.

  
  

  Participants discover how to treat their specialized knowledge not as a stand-alone asset, but as a platform for driving meaningful, sustained results, even if you never plan to write a book. We will focus on the "long game" of building a career or business around purpose, providing you with a tactile roadmap to turn your expertise into your legacy.

  
  

  Through interactive exercises and strategic mapping, participants will:

  • Establish a Foundational "Why": Apply the "But Why?" filter to strip away surface-level goals and align professional initiatives with a deeper core purpose.

  • Audit for Influence: Conduct a strategic inventory of current assets and "gold in the archives" to identify underutilized knowledge that can be leveraged for current goals.

  • Map a Professional Ecosystem: Visualize how core work connects to the four anchors of organizational success: results, thought leadership, internal advocacy, and team development.

  • Navigate Roadblocks with Resilience: Draft proactive "IF this, THEN that" structured backup plans to maintain momentum when facing technical or organizational challenges.

  • Build Sustainable Rhythms: Design a daily, weekly, and monthly execution schedule that focuses on consistency over perfection to prevent burnout while maintaining impact.

  Employee turnover rarely happens overnight. More often, people leave after a series of small experiences that gradually erode trust, motivation, and commitment.

  In this Consultants' Mastermind session, psychologist and retention strategist Dr. Sharon Grossman will share practical tools consultants, coaches, and learning professionals can use to help leaders recognize retention risks before it’s too late. Using the Performance Habit framework, participants will explore everyday leadership behaviors that strengthen communication, recognition, accountability, and engagement.
