Learning Technologies You Can Use Today!

Technology has become ubiquitous in our personal lives – we are used to managing multiple apps to help us shop, live, communicate, and bank. Learners are expecting technology to also be a part of their learning – whether it’s an online experience or inside the classroom. More than ever, learning technologies are more readily available to enhance the learning experience and be used in a way to drive human connection, engage learners, and support performance.

This presentation will share a variety of learning technologies that trainers, designers, developers, and leaders can adopt to amp up their training and learning experiences. Some free, some cheap, some investment-worthy…be sure to bring your device so you can check out chatbots, video coaching platforms, quizzing/polling tools, online flash cards and more.

Presentation objectives:

  •  Recognize the different types of learning technologies
  • Explain how each type supports learner engagement, performance, and knowledge/skill retention
  •  Explore several learning technologies, including augmented reality apps, video coaching tools, chatbots, and microlearning platforms
  •  Identify where and how learning technologies can be leveraged in live training and distance/online learning
