There are many roadblocks to effective communication. Some of these roadblocks include personality, cultural, and generational differences.
During this meeting, we will be focusing on the personality traits, and how they differentiate our communication and listening styles.
Speaker: Diane Vento
Diane is a seasoned Certified Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) with over 25 years of results-oriented success. She has a passion for helping others grow and succeed by developing, motivating and leading them in attaining their desired goals. Whether success is an employee, a team member, or individually, Diane's ability to identify needs and help resolve issues puts her at the top of her game. Her coaching has impacted the lives of of hundreds of people in both United States and Latin America.
Diane is bilingual in both English and Spanish, with an understanding of Portuguese. Diane is also a Gallup Q12 Trained Facilitator, as well as a Certified CORE MAP Facilitator and enjoys speaking with groups about communication style and barriers to effective communication.
Diane holds a MBA specializing in Human Resource Management with a certificate in Health Care Administration from the University of Miami and a B.S. in Business Administration with a Human Resource Management major from Florida State University. Diane has published two articles in HRM Today. She has also served as a presentation skills and public speaking coach.
