Virtual TD Talk | ATDSFL Community Outreach for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Miami

Like many service organizations that typically function in a face-to-face environment, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami were challenged to maintain operations virtually when the pandemic hit. This was a good opportunity for volunteers of our Chapter to lend their talent development skills to help BBBS learn how to manage their employees virtually and coach their employees personal wellness for sustainability and productivity in the new normal.

Learn how this Community Outreach project was selected, analyzed, designed, and implemented – the best practices and the challenges!

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about the process ATDSFL took to select a non-profit organization to partner with for our Community Outreach project.
  • Describe the process used to recruit and engage volunteers for the project.
  • Explain how we identified, designed, and implemented the talent development needs for BBBS, while navigating challenges of COVID-19.
  • Discuss how mindfulness can be used to improve your personal wellness and productivity.
TD Talks offers you the opportunity to engage directly with professionals in the field of Talent Development and leave with a practical and easy to use tools for your own organization.
