One of the most fundamental tools for learning is the Building of Community.  When you have a strong community you have better relationships, more trust, deeper conversations, greater support and more positive risk taking.  In this session I will share some of the most effective tools, frameworks and models on ‘how to build community’.

About Our Presenter:

 

Jeff R. Boyd, MS, is the founder of Operation Explore, Inc., a boutique learning and development firm with a niche in experiential learning and development. Whether the programs involve Culture Change, Leadership Development, Team Development & Community Building Jeff has an ability to create innovative, engaging, high-impact learning.

 

Prior to founding Operation Explore, Jeff was an internal consultant for the Management Education Department at Pratt & Whitney. Jeff helped internalize a culture change - roll-out for leadership development to shift from a hierarchical organization to a team based organization.

 

At Operation Explore, assignments have taken him from Rome to Sydney, Barcelona to

China , New York City to San Francisco . He is a catalyst for change and has the unique ability to enroll the audience with creative designs and passion. A gift he has had since a young child is the ability to get people out of their comfort zones and having fun while learning. 

 

A few recent clients include: McDonald’s, Kaman Corporation, Genzyme, Boehringer Ingelheim, Hovnanian Enterprises, University of Connecticut, and

Florida International University .

 

Educational Background: Jeff has a B.S. in Psychology and a Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. A qualified user for a variety of assessment tools including: The Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Firo-B, DiSC, Thomas Kilman Conflict Mode Indicator, 360 Feedback Instruments and Team Management Systems.
