Talk #1: Creating a Multi-tiered Global Trainer Certificate Program by iQor
iQor is a global provider of business process outsourcing and product support services with 32,000 employees in 17 countries. iQor partners with many of the world’s best-known brands to deliver aftermarket product and customer support solutions that span the consumer value chain, from customer care and receivables management to product diagnostics and repair services.
iQor experienced rapid growth with mergers and acquisitions, and as a result the Training and Development talent pool ran the gamut; new trainers, tenured trainers, developers, and training managers coming from all walks. In response, iQor created a multi-tiered Trainer Certification program based on training industry standards. The program was conducted in an open, facilitative forum that ensured that all trainers would be rooted and grounded in the same adult learning principles, while feverishly delivering thousands of committed training hours for their clients.
iQor received top honors as the Silver Award winner awarded by ATD South Florida Chapter at the Champions of Learning Event in 2014.
Presenter: Tarisse Grant-Shelton

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Meteorology from Florida State University and a Masters of Education with an emphasis in Educational Leadership from Concordia University.
