Microlearning in MicroTime and on MicroBudget Creating Impactful Just-In-Time Training

Gone are the days in which learning took place only in a classroom where people would listen to the "sage on the stage" and fall asleep over endless PowerPoint presentations.  In today's learning environment, information and skill development is at our fingertips.

As talent development professionals, our role in today's modern learning age is to reach the learner where they are and when they need it, supplying them with the knowledge and information needed to get the job done.  Knowing how to plan, create and implement microlearning content are now essential tools for the learning professional. Rapid business change, popularity of mobile devices, availability of apps and advances or shifts in technology are creating favorable environments for microlearning, but how do we create it in the midst of ever-increasing demands on our time and budget?

This workshop will give you the critical information and tools you need to rapidly build effective and sustainable microlearning content.

Here important questions will be answered:

  What is micro-learning?

How can microlearning support the adult psychological learning process?

When would a microlearning element be deemed appropriate?

How can microlearning be applied in your organization as a cost-effective and sustainable

  learning practice?

What tools do I need to make microlearning happen for the people in my business

How can I support macro content with microlearning elements?
