Rethinking Impostor Syndrome

If you lead, manage, mentor others, you need to understand Impostor Syndrome. Impostor-related feelings lead to unproductive behaviors like holding back, chronic procrastination, self-sabotage, and burnout. Millions of people - CEOs and entry-level professionals, first year college students, and PhDs, attorneys, and engineers - secretly worry they are not as smart or talented as other people "think" they are. It is called the impostor syndrome and it impacts both individuals and their organizations.
