 Competency-Based Training Program:

           How It All Comes Together

Making the right investments in learning and talent development programs has never been more important, or more of a challenge, for organizations’ leaders. Every year more than $164 billion is spent on learning and development in the US. Yet, many leaders and decision makers have doubts about the effectiveness of their talent development programs and question whether or not they bring a justifiable return on investment.

Competency-based training is a systemic way to develop more effective and efficient training programs. The approach allows us to identify performance gaps, design training to address the gaps, and then measure post-training performance.  This system provides clearer indicators from an ROI perspective as well as a fair assessment of employee performance.

Join Elyse Sitomer as she shares best practices in the identification and crafting of core competencies that reflect organizational needs and guides participants through the process of designing and implementing competency-based training programs.
