celebrates our 10th Annual

Champions of Learning Awards Dinner on Tuesday, December 9th.

This is a spectacular celebration of the training and talent development best practices and successes across the South Florida communities.

Join us, as we recognize a variety of companies from different industries and sizes for their implementation of best practices, making a difference on the company bottom-line, and/or having a significant role in an organization initiative/project. 

Networking

The evening will begin with a light cocktail hour, including hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.  This is a great opportunity to network with professionals and learning teams across the South Florida communities.  Visit with training solution providers and get hands-on experience and insight into with products and services they offer for all of your training needs.

Keynote

The keynote presentation "Engagement for Success" will be provided by Martha Soehren, the Chief Talent Development Officer and Senior Vice President of Comcast University and Comcast Cable.  She is also the current Chair of the Board of Directors of ATD.

Her career encompasses 13 years in the telecommunications industry; 25 years in the defense industry; and 13 years as an adjunct professor and research/academic advisor.

Martha serves on the Doctorate of Learning Advisory Board for the GSE/Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She is the Chair of the Board of Directors of ASTD (now ATD), and Chair-elect for the Board of Directors for Women in Cable and Telecommunications, and serves on the Board of the Society of Communications and Telecommunications Engineers.

Awards

Following the keynote, organizations and Workplace Learning and Performance professionals will be recognized for best practices in the field. The night will conclude with the announcement of the top award winners for best practices that have been successfully implemented that drive results.
