Virtual TD Talk |  Improving Employee Performance with Lean Six Sigma

Lean Six Sigma is a process improvement methodology that relies on a collaborative team effort to improve business performance by systematically removing waste and reducing variation. In order to successfully implement Lean Six Sigma, a combination of tools from both lean manufacturing and Six Sigma must be used. Lean Six Sigma is commonly used in manufacturing environment but it is possible to apply the tools to various business problems including improving culture initiatives. Land’N’Sea’s “Application of Lean Six Sigma to Improving Safety Culture” initiative won the 3rd place award on 2021 ATD Champions of Learning. During this session, we will teach you several lean six sigma tools that we utilized in our culture initiative, including root cause analysis, cause and effect diagram, and process mapping to solve social problems in businesses.
