10 Brainboosters in Online Training: Engage and Excite Your Audience!

As a live online trainer, you compete against many strong distractors during your online training. Participants are only 1 click away from their e-mail, their family or colleagues might be in the background asking for their attention. And a day full of meetings and high work pressure is on the minds of many participants. How can you hold your participants' attention during your online training? How can you help them boosting their brain power, so that they keep focused and remember the online learnings?

Many online trainers use energizers or breaks to try to keep the attention level up, but these techniques only interrupt participants from their moment of learning. The better solution is to understand the online attention span, to know scientific facts about boosting brain power and have teaching methods ready to help your participants process the online information.

During this education session, 10 brain boosting activities for online training are demonstrated. Attendees learn more about the scientific background of how to keep the attention of online participants focused on learning. What 3 crucial activities are that an online trainer has to do during the first 10% of the training time? Examples of online teaching forms are shown for interactive knowledge sharing, online brainstorming and online skills training.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE EVER:

—Begged your audience to "turn their cameras on"
—Struggled to figure out how to engage those that are quiet during online trainings or meetings
—Wanted to add some dynamic, engaging elements to your virtual facilitation

IN THIS SESSION YOU WILL:

1. Learn the 3 crucial activities that an online trainer has to do during the first 10% of the training time to keep the focus and attention span high

2. Master implementing 10 brain boosting activities in your online training

3. Practice online teaching methods for better interactive knowledge sharing, online brainstorming and online skills training
