The Power of Coaching: Promoting Rapid

Change in Individuals, Team, and Organizations

As Talent Development practitioners, we are familiar with the benefits of coaching. Fact is, the benefits of coaching can be as varied as the individuals who are being coached!

The many benefits of coaching include improving work performance and behaviors, increasing self-awareness and confidence, and improving communication skills. Additionally, we can improve relationships with our colleagues and employees, achieve our goals, and experience greater job and life satisfaction.

This session will explore what coaching is and the skills necessary to coach. We will delve into the process of coaching, as well as typical coaching challenges.

More importantly, we will explain how you can include coaching in your current T&D strategies. Join us for an interactive session that will answer the question, “Why coaching”?

Learning Objectives

After completion of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Understand what coaching is… and is not
  • Apply coaching strategies and skills to current T&D efforts
