We all face change, it's a normal part of life.  But, how do we deal with it?  Do we plan our life's transitions proactively and effectively, or . . . do we wait for life to happen and then react?

 

What about change in organizations we serve...are we helping to proactively change, chanage, or simply perfecting our firefighting skills?

 

Join this dynamic session to explore the transitions we all face.  We will dive into some demonstrated best practices for achieving the outcomes we desire!

About the Presenter: Rose Amberson, MSW, SPHR, GPHR

 

Rose is an accomplished executive in the field of Human Resources and Organizational Development, with a proven track record of success in a variety of settings. Rose specializes in bringing strategic human capital solutions to the executive table, effectively engaging leadership and employees, and linking workforce strategies to the business goals of organizations. She is a strong advocate for progressive and healthy workplaces that allow employees and business to thrive. A dynamic facilitator, Rose is dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences with lasting organizational results. She has independently created and delivered customized leadership, workplace wellness, human resources, sales, and customer service training programs, at all organizational levels.

 

Rose currently serves as Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Organizational Development (HROD), with Laparkan Trading Limited, a private freight and logistics company with offices throughout North America, the Caribbean, and South America. At Laparkan, Rose's HROD focus is to develop a consistent organizational culture focused upon service, measurement, the achievement of strategic and operational goals, succession planning and talent development.

 

Prior to her role with Laparkan, Rose was Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development for Tropical Financial Credit Union and the Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development for the Boca Raton Regional Hospital. 

 

Rose received her certification as a Global Professional In Human Resources (GPHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute, and earned her Master's Degree from Florida International University.  She is certified in Predictive Index behavioral analysis, Professional Sales Training, and Professional Service, and has received Six Sigma Champion and Green Belt training.  She has received local awards, including the Excellence in Human Resources Award, SF Business Journal in 2005, and "100 Outstanding Women of Broward County" award in 2009 and 2010.
