Virtual TD Talks: Going Online Overnight
Organizational transformation is often planned months, if not years, in advance; our current situation, however, has us engaged in massive transformations implemented virtually overnight. Join us for this highly-interactive session focusing on how organizations are successfully adapting to the move from online to onsite interactions in ways that produce positive results for all involved. Learning Objectives: - Describe at least three examples of rapid transformations from onsite to online interactions you can adapt in your own situation - Cite at least three elements that contribute to successful transformation from onsite to online interactions - List three things you will do in the next two weeks to facilitate onsite-to-online transformation within the organization(s) you servePresenter: Paul Signorelli Paul, co-author of Workplace Learning & Leadership with Lori Reed and author of the forthcoming Change the World Using Social Media (Rowman & Littlefield, 2020), has been collaborating with and facilitating results-oriented discussions for a variety of clients and colleagues onsite, online, and in blended environments for more than a decade. He participates in a number of innovative online communities; is currently facilitating a combined onsite-online series of train-the-trainer sessions for the Tampa Bay Library Consortium; designs and facilitates webinars and online courses for the American Library Association and other clients; and continues to foster and document, through his writing, innovations in blended learning. He remains active in a variety of organizations, including ATD, where he is a member of the South Florida and Sacramento (CA) chapters, has served on the National Advisors for Chapters, and was president of an ASTD chapter; Arizona State University’s ShapingEDU initiative (designed to bring together “dreamers, doers, and drivers shaping the future of learning in the digital age”); FutureWe, an Australia-based global initiative designed to help learners develop the skills needed to “adapt to and be ready for a fully digital, automated future”; and the American Library Association, where is a member of the Library and Information Technology Association. Paul also writes for a variety of publications and blogs on his Building Creative Bridges site; is active on a variety of social media platforms; and can be reached through his website (http://paulsignorelli.com) or at paul@paulsignorelli.com.
