Mentorship Program Kick Off and Pairing Event!

The Mentorship Program provides opportunities for all South Florida ASTD members, including rookies, veterans, and professionals in transition to:

• Create empowering learning experiences for professional growth
• Network with other professionals while tuning up personal leadership skills
• Overcome obstacles that may stand in the way of career success
• Recognize your potential as a contributing force with the South Florida chapter.

Proteges can be individuals new to the Learning and Development industry, or experiences professionals looking to change their career path and learn new skills.  To become a protege, you should be . . .

• A member of the South Florida ASTD chapter
• Prepared to set and actively work toward achieving goals
• Willing to get involved in the chapter by serving on a committee or assisting at an event.

Mentors are individuals looking for opportunities to give back to the Learning and Development community of South Florida, while sharpening their own skills as they teach other learning professionals.  To be a mentor, you should be . . .

• A member of the South Florida ASTD chapter
• Able to spend a minimum of one to two hours per month with the protege to work toward achieving professional goals

• Saturday, June 23 - The Matching Event
• August/September - Professional Program
• Tuesday, November 13 - Graduation Event
