High performing people make high performing organizations. The success or failure of an organization rests not on technology or processes, but the people within an organization.  Yet we know that many organizations struggle with individual employees’ performance which ultimately results in poor organizational performance.

So, what separates high performing organizations from the rest?  What roles do leadership and coaching play when it comes to performance management?  What are effective and meaningful performance metrics?  This presentation will explore answers to these questions and will allow you to interactively create performance management solutions you can immediately use in your work and clients’ environment.

Presenter: LaShanya Aikerson

LaShanya began her career over 30 years ago, in Chicago, as an electrical engineer for a major  telecommunications company. Because she was good technically, she got promoted to become a  supervisor. Unfortunately, her engineering education did not empower her with the tools to be a leader over people. She went from being so good she got promoted to being fired from her job. This experience inspired her to learn what separates the best from the rest. She is a certified speaker, trainer, coach, and consultant.

Today her company offers training, coaching, meeting facilitation and more in the following areas: leadership, change management, emotional intelligence, communications, team building, project management, time management, conflict resolution, personality styles, and customer service. Her clients include The Coca-Cola Company, Delta Airlines, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, and Boeing.
