 From an Employee Opinion Survey to Emerging Leaders Program: How Land'n'Sea Is Engaging Their Employees  

Employee engagement is a complex phenomenon. The results of a Gallup survey asking employees from 142 countries “How engaged are you at wok?”, are very striking. Only 13% of the employees across the globe are truly engaged.  

Many national and local organizations survey their employees as well to generate an awareness of the level of employee engagement.  An employee opinion survey at Land'N'Sea was a starting point that led to a development of Emerging Leaders Program.

Yasemin Gokalp is a Lean Six Sigma black belt who specializes in implementing projects that focuses on employee performance improvement. She is a doctoral researcher studying performance psychology. Her special interest is designing and delivering technical and behavioral training that leads to improved emotional intelligence. She is a certified executive business coach. Her career journey started in Human Resources department in Land'N'Sea, and she has been leading the Lean Six Sigma initiatives since 2015. Helping leaders and employees achieving excellence in their professional relationships that leads to high performance and well-being is her true passion.
