In Her Own Words
Tell us about a work project that you’re absolutely crushing and are super proud of right now! Who is supporting you on the project with whom you want to share the spotlight?
Before taking on my Organizational & Leadership Development Specialist role,
I shied away from speaking in front of large audiences. I am now designing and
facilitating leadership courses and general orientation sessions. Leading these
sessions and receiving great feedback from the participants is a personal and
professional win for me. I am sharing the spotlight with my teammates; we
work well together. Their partnership has been essential in creating a consistent
and positive learning experience throughout our organization.
Why should others get involved with ATD South Florida? What have you gained by being a part of the organization?
ATD South Florida supports continuous professional development and mentorship.
The chapter provided me with leadership opportunities; I’ve served on
the board for several years in various roles such as Director of Retention,
VP of Membership, and Director of Mentorship. My main reason for joining was to
make genuine connections and grow my professional network.
What’s your all-time favorite learning tool or strategy that never fails to engage?
Active Learning.
What sparks your creativity and gets your energy flowing? Who or what inspires you to reach new heights?
I enjoy brainstorming and sharing ideas with others. My mom inspired me to look
beyond my circumstances and always pursue my dreams.
Which technology platform do you absolutely love using to level up your work?
ChatGPT, Gamma, and Canva.
When you’re not transforming lives, what do you love doing for fun that brings you joy?
I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.
